Our system

Air Support Project is a nonprofit dedicated to producing affordable, high‑performance air purifiers—ensuring everyone has access to cleaner indoor air. Guided by the principle that healthy air is a human right, our engineering team is developing a prototype inspired by the Corsi‑Rosenthal Box, merging proven design with innovative new features.

ACTUALLY QUIET

At 50dB, it's softer than most "whisper-quiet" units on high speed

FLAT PACK SHIPPING

Lower shipping costs and you'll have it running in minutes

Three-layer protection

Pre-filter catches the big stuff, charcoal handles odors, MERV-13 tackles the nasties

HELLO VELLO
VELLO XL in a corner

No guessing games

Smart lights tell you exactly when filters need changing

Planet-friendly

Uses less energy, creates less waste, and filters last longer

Easy assembly

Seriously, No tools, no headaches - just minutes to cleaner air.

Pollutants removed by vello

The Vello filters a wide range of contaminants out of the air with its 450 CADR and non-proprietary MERV-13 filters. Vello can also accommodate a pre-filter mesh and an activated carbon filter for three levels of protection against whatever is in your air.

smog over a city

SMOG

0.1 – 10 µm
Pollution from automobiles and industry. A major source of PM 2.5 particles that infiltrate the lungs.

INFECTIOUS AEROSOLS

0.1 - 2.5 µm
Ultrafine aerosols can carry viruses, bacteria, and other contagious illnesses.

WILDFIRE SMOKE

0.1 – 10 µm
Smoke from wildfires travels on wind currents and can blanket cities thousands of miles away in a haze. Small particles in this smoke can infiltrate buildings through HVAC systems.

Mold

mOLD

8 - 80 μm
Mold spores are common throughout the environment, including in the home, and tend to fester in damp places. They can trigger asthma and other chronic health problems.

other pollutants

Removing these particles from the your air can improve your health and performance.

POLLEN

10 - 100 μm
Trees, flowers, grasses, and weeds are the most common source of seasonal allergies when then release their pollen.

chemicals

VOCs

0.000001 μm
VOCs leach into the home from carpeting, paint, cleaning products, and other household materials. They are millions of times smaller than fine particles, and require carbon filters to remove.

PET DANDER

0.1 – 25 μm
Skin and hair particles shed by household pets. A major allergy and asthma trigger.

DUST

0.1 – 100 μm Dust from both indoor and outdoor sources can accumulate inside homes, coat surfaces, and trigger asthma and other breathing problems.

VELLO XL in a corner

Flat-pack, tool-free air purifier with whisper-quiet MERV-13 filtration, delivering 3× the clean-air rate of premium units at half the operating cost.

A screenshot of the Airawareness app displaying a classroom simulation for COVID-19 risk assessment. Details include: Duration: 2.1 hours. Height: 10 feet. Floor Area: 900 square feet. Transmission Risk: SARS-CoV-2 (Omicron) at 78.6%. Occupants: 23 people. Airflow: 1.0 air changes per hour (ACH), 7 eCFM per person. Purifier Unit: Levoit Core 600S, 410 CADR. The 3D classroom model shows airflow and red particles representing airborne risks, with additional metrics displayed for analysis.

Dynamic indoor air quality simulation and aerosol modeling so you can visualize particle spread, test ventilation strategies, and optimize airflow before implementation.
